Did I miss anything? What is needed to make sure that we resync with SLE-12 at least with 42.3?
The 42.2 mod_nss is taken from 42.1, not SLES 12 SP2 here (openSUSE:Leap:42.2:Update 00Meta ).
grep mod_nss lookup.yml apache2-mod_nss: openSUSE:Leap:42.1
For some reason Ludwig decided not to take the SLES 12 SP2 version, which probably was an oversight.
AFAICS it never was in SP2. The version upgrade of apache2-mod_nss came as maintenance update for SP1 and wasn't applied to 42.1. That kind of issue is not on the radar at all. I guess the automation maintenance has in place to sync SLE updates didn't work because the 42.1 apache2-mod_nss for whetever reason came from Factory and no human checked the package. So maintenance just needs to release the SLE version for Leap.
in case I found the only (or one of very few) packages where that is the case that's fine. There are always exceptions. If anyone has an efficient tool to compare versions between SLE12-SP2 and 42.2 which shows that this is not a bigger issue that would be very much appreciated.
$ osc ls SUSE:SLE-12-SP2:GA|wc -l 1009 I don't have a better tool than basically osc diff and some scripting around it. btdt. Good luck :-) More seriously I appreciate help in keeping an eye on the packages of course. cu Ludwig -- (o_ Ludwig Nussel //\ V_/_ http://www.suse.com/ SUSE Linux GmbH, GF: Felix Imendörffer, Jane Smithard, Graham Norton, HRB 21284 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
