This week I have submitted to upstream a bug with calibre on 42.2 beta [1]. The bug is somewhere in Qt, probably with conflicting plugins, but the cause remains unclear. It happens to me only with 42.2, not with 42.1. I do not have a (working) tumbleweed install at the moment, so I cannot test there.
Can some of you test if this bug also happens on your machine, so that I know it is not just me. And any insights to solve this would also be welcome. :)
To reproduce:
1. start calibre 2. selects an epub 3. open the ebook-editor (is available in the context menu, usually under the right mouse) 4. Open under "Stylesheet" in the left panel, a css file 5. Go with the mouse to the window that then has opened to edit that file.
I then get consistently a crash. I don't have to click, just move the mouse into the window.
I'm running tumbleweed with all current updates (Calibre-2.69.0-1.1.x86_64 from repo-oss) Stylesheets open fine and can be edited - no crash. Andreas
