Your best bet is to zypper in cdrtools, that will remove cdrkit-cdrtools-compat and replace all symlinks with the correct files. The last hard dependency, kiwi, on cdrkit-cdrtools-compat has been removed and as soon as I have time patterns-openSUSE will install cdrtools. It will be fixed in Leap:42.2 as well. Best regards Dave P Thanks dave. I used Yast to get cdrecord and cdrtools and thats all i did for it to start working again
