There is an opensuse-test list where you can do your tests :-)
I reply because one feature of gmail is that it automatically removes what it consider duplicates. As the list post is a "copy" (has the same message id) that the post in your sent folder, it is deleted.
Also, if people reply to you and to the list, you will not receive the on list copy.
Great Carlos! Then you discovered the mistery that was causing my frustration because I was looking for my own posting (I.E. original sent email on the list as I was seeing before to start getting problems using YAHOO.COM.BR). So the reason why I do not see my own posts on the factory list is that being same Id of my sent message it is removed by the Inbox folder right?
Ok now it is more clear but then you were receiving as well my yahoo.com.br account posting? If the answer is yes, then I will restore the former subscription to opensuse-factory. Thanks. Cheers,
It is removed by gmail internal filtering before it reaches your inbox. This gmail feature is impossible to disable, there is no configuration for it. Only gamil does this, as far as I know - and it is a pain, because aside of this, gmail is perfect for mail lists.
The way to solve this problem is to send using another account - be it another gmail account (I have not tried this), or another ISP that provides you with you with smart relay host facilities (in Spain, for instance, none does, to my knowledge).
