3-install some linux on another partition
I guess without bootloader
4-configure original bootloader to boot linux
well, TW don't boot (no inird)
7-download an installation kernel and initrd, e.g. from http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/leap/42.1/repo/oss/boot/x86_64/loa... or http://download.opensuse.org/tumbleweed/repo/oss/boot/x86_64/loader/ and place on bootloader's partition 8-configure a stanza for original bootloader to load downloaded kernel and initrd 9-initialize a linux HTTP installation from the bootloader stanza

not yet tried. not obvious. I tried to copy the kernel and initrd of 13.2 on the TW /boot folder and boot from there but I booted 13.2, not TW how can I build an initrd for TW the usual chroot fails with "failed to run command */bin/bash*:Exec format error" that said no normal TW install succeed for me :-( thanks -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
