IMHO You cannot compare Leap and TW on this just like that. We don't know how André installed the NVIDIA blob.
i think the new 361.16 is currently only available as/with the nvidia installer. and the older nvidia driver 358.16 works on latest TW. i am currently using it, after reverting back to it.
According to content of ftp://download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86_64/latest.txt the latest stable driver version is 352.63, so we're talking about beta releases if a higher version is being used.
yes, this is correct. i know that.
Furthermore it would be nice if we could see some output, illustrating what is going wrong
here is a post on the nvidia forum about it: https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/908506/linux/several-essential-kde-... it also happens on other distros, so it seems an upstream bug depending on plasma. -- *Rainer Klier* Research & Development, Technical Sales Consultant Namirial GmbH (xyzmo SIGNificant is now Namirial) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
