[opensuse-factory] Re: When was it decided to stop supporting remote desktops?

XIO: fatal IO error 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable) on X server "localhost:10.0"

It worked here, across the internet. I also run thunderbird this way

Your thunderbird uses OpenGL?

Mine doesn't. ;-(....

I can run firefox and mozilla remotely... almost reasonable speed,
they don't generate the same messages nor operate at 8FPS...

It's the Remote OpenGL that doesn't work. Many desktops use
OpenGL for the various effects -- transparency, motion, among others.

I can still run most individual X programs, though with 13.1 many of
them no longer save settings and give error messages to the screen
because they can't hook to a session bus -- how is that even supposed
to work with a remote login?
