Re: [opensuse-factory] Screen resolution problem
Problem was the nouveau modules were not being loaded.
I had problems with dracut not configuring the network so I went back to module-init-tools.
"hwinfo --gfxcard" said nouveau was inactive.
Went into runlevel 3, "modprobe nouveau", "init 5" to get it sane again.

After latest zypper dup screen size had defaulted to 1024x768 and cannot

On other boxes that have not been rebooted I have 1920x1080.

What gfxchip?
What DE?
What driver is reported used in Xorg.0.log?
Which kernel?
