No, Felix did not hijack your thread - he didn't start a totally new topic which is what 'hijacking' means.
Whilst it might not have been apparent for you Felix, I was referring to persistent bugs on my machine.

There is nothing to indicate that you were referring to what the situation is on your machine - you simply made the broad statement. To which Felix was responding. Nothing more, nothing less.
Obviously there are unresolved bugs that don't affect me, but hey doesn't every distro have persistent bugs - e.g. Windows 8?
Windows 8? It was released less than 4 months ago. You use Windows 8 and have noticed persistent bugs in it? Can you tell us what these persistent bugs are, please.
