I recently upgraded my dual boot Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop from
openSUSE 12.2 to 12.3 RC1, using the Net Install procedure. The
installation went perfectly, but on re-booting my grub2 menu only
shows openSUSE and Advanced Options for openSUSE. The Windows 7
option has disappeared.

The machine boots from the Root Partition.

What do I need to do to reinstate it?

Bob

Boot openSUSE then run as root
"/usr/sbin/grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg"
