пишет: Hi,
After a failure upgrading my experimental disk from 12.2 to 12.3 (see
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=799296
I downloaded the DVD-iso (openSUSE-DVD-Build0348-x86_64.iso), applied isohybrid to it and installed from the then created USB stick. Installation goes without any warning or error, but after it's finished the system won't boot up from the disk: No operating system.
Boot in rescue mode and post "fdisk -l" output.
I am unable to boot this disk, as said in op. But this is fdisk applied to the disk:
========================== fdisk -l /dev/sdf
Well ... you have at least 5 HDDs (assuming you booted from USB stick to get this output) so the first thing you need to know - from which disk you actually boot. That's something installer cannot know. I suggest you download bootinfoscript (http://sourceforge.net/p/bootinfoscript/code/ci/e7fc7064677c9cdc7bff12c315bb...) and paste output somewhere, e.g. susepaste.org. And explain how your HDDs are setup in BIOS, which boot priority, which one is boot disk. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
