How do I get apache going on localhost[]
opensuse x86_64 factory 12.2 rc2

How can I get this service going?
Thanks Glenn

rcapach2 start ?

sorry.. clumsy fingers.. make that an
rcapache2 start
(I'm sure you figured that).

Thanks for the info. Here are the results of the commands:
# rcapache2 start
redirecting to systemctl
Job failed. See system journal and 'systemctl status' for details.

# systemctl status
Too few arguments.

What do I check next?
Thanks Glenn
I found this command after some searching, and its result. --Glenn
# systemctl status apache2.service
apache2.service - apache
Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/apache2.service; enabled)

CGroup: name=systemd:/system/apache2.service

Include /etc/apache2/vhosts.d/*.conf

So using the apache 'standard' debug methods might help you:

apachectl -T
httpd -t -f /etc/apache2/httpd.conf

Let's see what we get.
