Are you surprised we don't read it, with that many communication channels that opensuse has?
no. i admit i used to be surprised, and a little angry...but, now that i've seen a few thousand "How do i change the background?" and etc i am no longer either--(would be a waste of good talent for the devs/maintainers/etc tending to so easily fixed (by reading or googling) nits) personally, i'd much rather all those new to openSUSE and/or Linux come in through the forums first...because a good portion of the questions are easily answered by someone with less than six months experience in open source software....and, most of the balance of the questions are fielded by folks like Carlos, Malcolm and others (WELL done!!)...(and, the really easy ones i can do--though i can't hack my way out of a paper bag).. so, i don't mind you (and others) not dropping in--but, you do sometimes miss really nice post (like the one Carlos pointed to).. *should we send the pats on the back over here routinely??* (to factory, project, where??) they come up often (not, unfortunately, as often as the ones that go kinda like: "I just installed OpensUse and this #¤%€@&Ø junk is nothing like [some other OS]--bye!!" dd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
