Just got hit by this as well :-( I wonder why it hangs the whole system, I would expect KDE to start without network instead of a hang,,,
I don't think this is caused by a crashing NetworkManager. After I noticed that NetworkManager was crashing I reconfigured my system to use the old ifup method. This made at least the network working and I tested this before starting KDE. However KDE still showed the same behavior in refusing to start properly. So I guess that libnl3 is also used by KDE in a certain way circumventing the Network Connectivity.
libnl3 is fixed now on download.opensuse.org Greetings, Stephan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
