Hi Patrick,
12.2-factory, and up-to-date atm
If you have an up-to-date factory system, then your KDM should have version 4.8.0-1.1-... and not 4.7.2. Unless you are using KR47 as KDE repo.
you are saying I should: zypper -v dup --from home_tittiatcoke ??
Don't run that zypper. This would overwrite also your kdebase4-workspace packages and if you are indeed using KR47, this could have quite some consequences. What I was proposing is that you could try to use ONLY the KDM package from my repository. Don't install any other KDE packages from there, but see if you get a working whole if you ignore the dependencies issues that pops up when you try to install KDM.
13:50 crash2: ~ # rpm -q kdelibs4 kdelibs4-4.8.0-462.5.x86_64 so "zypper -v dup --from" should work ?? tks -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
