[01-01-70 12:34]: You need to rebuild your kernel module packages, if you install a new kernel package.
If you use external kernel modules, I strongly suggest you don't use Tumbleweed unless you know what you are doing, as the kernel updates are trickier for you, and not supported by me. :)
Problem is that we are *unable* to rebuild the kernel module packages as there is no matching kernel-devel to the new kernel-desktop.
Please generate the kernel-devel-3.2.0-3.1 package.
I somehow ended up with kernel-desktop-3.2.0-3.1 rather than 3.2.0-2.1. I see that 3.2.0-3.1 is no longer available and 3.2.0-2.1 is along with the kernel-devel package. I am rm'ing 3.2.0-3.1 and installing 3.2.0-2.1 which should satisfy my system reqmt's. sorry for the noise and tks for attention. Don't understand how I got 3.2.0-3.1...... -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
