zypper dup an hour ago has left me w/o a touchpad. inserting a usb mouse is recognized.

kernel was updated to 3.1.0-1.2.1.x86_64 but rebooting to failsave or previous version, 3.1.0.-1.1.2, makes no difference

updated packages (sorted): http://wahoo.no-ip.org/~pat/update.pkg.lst.txt

note: test box only

update: did another zypper dup and see another 59 package updates and 11 downgrades of packages updated an hour ago.

will advise result shortly.....
