And the version of Firefox and Thunderbird from a NET load just blew up on two installs. I replaced both of the machine with ones from the source and both of them work. However the pure 64 bit machine keeps telling me that another version is running and I blame KDE because "ps" shows nothing of the sort. Both machines are running a x86-64 B1 version from B0250 4/22/11 On 10/02/2011 01:25 PM, Kim Leyendecker wrote:
Hello all!
I installed openSUSE 12.1 Beta 1 in a virtual machine (VirtualBox) on my workstation. After the finished installation and configuration, I started my machine in full-screen mode and opened a new terminal. I switched to root and did the following:
zypper install thunderbird
after this, zypper should install Mozilla Thunderbird 7.0, but it broke up with a error. I haven´t the error here (I´m back to 11.4 to write this e-mail. no internet connection under 12.1 :-( )
Has anyone else such a problem? Or could you please test it on your 12.1 machines?
If you got the same, I will file a bugreport. It would be really sad to not have a running thunderbird in final 12.1...
thanks for your help, Kim
