updated this am from MS2 to MS3 in a VBox via zypper dup, rebooted and have not experienced any noticable problems. Running full-screen session of KDE4 and using for day-to-day.

This morning update has broken kontact/korganizer. I have lost all my appointments and trying to restore them via import from icalout.ics provides an kontact error window/msg "There is no resource available".
