I wouldn't call it usable.... at least not on my install. I installed
and launched the Gnome applet, and on first launch, each available
WiFi node was drawn at about 900% zoom (took up the entire screen to
show 2 WiFi nodes of about 20 available... it was scrollable at
least). It crashed when I attempted to connect. Launched again and
everything was normal sized, but it crashed on connect. Launched
again, and all was back to 900% zoom, and it still crashed on connect.
At this point, I switched over to "Traditional ifup" using YaST and
everything worked correctly.

I didn't spend any time trying to figure out why the Gnome
NetworkManager applet was zoomed 900% two out of three times I
launched it.
