Sorry to bother the list with this again. I've filled a bug report
(https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=698412) but there has
been no movement. I believe this is a simple issue of a patch not
being applied to the Tumbleweed kernel updates.

I know of no patch that somehow got dropped, it's probably due to some
other change in the input layer in this area.

It will be handled soon, sorry for the delay, lots of people are
traveling at the moment.

Googleing for "linux
kernel synaptics clickpad" will bring up a list of patches and bug
reports. I'd really like to get these patches applied back to the
Tumbleweed kernel, because the updated video driver works much better.
Right now I have to choose whether I want my video to run smoothly or
if I want to be able to right-click.

Do you have a pointer to a specific patch that you feel should be
applied?  If so, please add it to the bug and we will be glad to look at
it.

OK, I've added links on the bug report to patches that might address
this problem.

Thanks!
