That means its nothing else then our one-click-install i think :)
not really. It's the 1 clic without root access and distro independant If I understood well (I just discover this) it's an install system that works like RSS (you have a feed from each application) The developper have to setup his own web site (or have one on sourceforge or elsewhere) with binaries and spec file there. 0install manage to download all the binaries (including dependencies) from the web to a "cache" folder (user folder, root access optional) and run it from there. 0install provides tools for the developper to manage this. It could be pretty interesting if it had an "appstore", but I couldn't find one (may not searched enough). The main advantage is that there is only one link, distribution independant (0install is said to be smart enough to cope with this). I don't know if I like really le "no root necessary" feature. jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://www.youtube.com/user/jdddodinorg http://jdd.blip.tv/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
