I would like to get some feedback on updating from 2.6.37.1 to 2.6.37.2 at this point, so please give http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Kernel:/openSUSE-11.4/openSUSE_Fac... a test on your hardware.
Small increment with possible partial https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=584493 fix (colors in mc no longer corrupted, but still setterm settings from .bashrc are discarded)? Installed on P4@2.8GHz plus Piii@600MHz laptop. What should we see that's different from 2.6.37.1?
Just discovered 2.6.37.2-3 includes the http://www.mail-archive.com/stable@linux.kernel.org/msg05053.html fix that is missing from the GA kernel built the same day as that fix announcement. :-(
Why file a bug for something that is already fixed in our repositories? If you want the latest kernel, you can always use the Kernel:stable or openSUSE:Tumbleweed repositories. This update will push out to the main openSUSE:11.4 repository in a few weeks. thanks, greg k-h -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
