There are nightly builds for Chrome & Firefox w/ support, a patch for FFMPEG, and Gstreamer plugins are in development.

Instead of the on-going discussion about to ship it with release-x.x,... Why not create a branche on the OBS, so that people can get to know it, test it, and when/if mature enough (both in technical or legal aspects) one might start considering to include it to the list of packages that are default shipped.
