Yes, please make a bug report. So far I can only tell that the
device nodes, e.g. /dev/dm-0, suddenly disappear.

I made the bug report after I figured out which program removes
the device nodes.

Thanks for that, I've not had much time to do any further testing of
enter my own bug. It's not helped by the fact I was trying to run the VM
on a laptop with insufficient memory for the job in hand. ;)
