This is Bugzilla #527312 that I had filed six weeks ago, but somehow not consistently reproducibly. I'm kind of glad you are able to see this, that may help getting it nailed down. ;-)

Does the "FATAL: Could not open /boot/System.map-" message appear in the log file if you run the command?
