Skype was never (IIRC) on any DVD or online repository.
Hmmm. I am sure that I installed skype with yast2 on my 11.0. And I have only openSuSE repositories installed and the packman repository but packman doesn't provide skype.
So where did it come from?
Maybe something like: 'yast2 --install $HOME/Downloads/skype-2.0.0.72-suse.i586.rpm' or 'yast2 --install skype'. I just use rpm after manually fetching from Skype's web site. -- How much better to get wisdom than gold, to choose understanding rather than silver. Proverbs 16:16 NKJV Team OS/2 ** Reg.
