That doesn't help. What I need to know is:
+ before you log in, is gnome-keyring running?
when I log into root at runlevel 3, immediately six instances of gnome-keyring-daemon are started, three each for root ane <user>(pat). And <user> has *not* yet logged in.
+ when you log in, does that create a new gnome-keyring process? Only one?
yes, it appears so: pat 1385 0.0 0.0 50036 2636 ? S 19:16 0:00 /usr/bin/gnome-keyring-daemon --daemonize --login
+ when you start the usual apps you're using, does that also start a new gnome-keyring process? Only one?
Possibly, but I am not sure. Looks like one starts for root as it is not on an even five minute interval as *most* are. Almost all instances are starting on an even five minute interval in groups of 3 <user> and 2 <root>. tks -- Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
