For 11.1 or 11.2M3, using the DVD to perform an install, or to upgrade from a previous version, it's not actually required to accept the displayed license. However, when using zypper dup to perform an upgrade from 11.2M3 to 11.2M4, the openSUSE license is displayed and it is required to accept the license.
For consistency between the different methods of performing an upgrade, I'm guessing that this requirement is actually an oversight. If it is an oversight, would it be worth filing a bug report about it?

Not sure it is related, but I attended a BOF section about enterprise linux at OLS about 10 days ago. One of the issues raised was forcing interactive responses to license issues was not compatible with large scale deployments. Does Novel try to get issues like that ironed out in OpenSuse, or is that specific to SLES?
