For 11.2 what will be the plan for giving admins passwordless access to applications requiring root privileges? Will it be sudo or kdesu? If it is kdesu what fix will be made to provide access without a password? Has anyone thought through the issue and made a decision?
My idea would be to go with sudo, as kdesu would require a similar solution for people running GNOME and another for people using e.g. XFCE or something else.
sudo is very general and can be used everywhere and anywhere, even for those admins who want to use YaST with CLI.

Thanks Houghi, That's what I've been doing -- works perfect. I guess I just wait and see if someone with come up with a kde equivalent. -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.
