I just compiled 'nvclock' ( http://freshmeat.net/projects/nvclock/ ). According to the 'nvclock --info' in 11.1 Beta 5 memory is set to over 300 MHz, while in 11.0 is set to 265 MHz. The GPU clocks are the same 250 MHz. If nvclock is reading good, then it seems that on this card (nVidia Geforce 4 MX4000) memory is the bottleneck. Changing GPU clock doesn't increase number of frames in glxgears, but changing memory clock does. I have to repeat this to see how different drivers nv/nvidia handle this. Which means quite a few reboots and X restarts. BTW, it will be interesting what others can see. Be carefull, the nvclock is not for people without experience. It has no safety brakes, it can easily fry you graphic adapter. -- Regards, Rajko -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
