I for myself issue a zypper dup once in a while.. sometimes some old 'garbage' is being removed this way. But this is unlikely to happen at this time, as we're closing up to RCs... so probably not to many packages will be dropped anymore.
Ok, I'm still a bit confused. Sorry for the newbish questions but this is my first time trying to contribute to testing on Factory so I'm still getting my bearings. I'm unsure what the implications of the RCs are to the factory? Now that I'm pointing at the factory repos, is issuing a "zypper dup" or "zypper up" sufficient to keep me on the latest packages? More importantly; is this the best way to contribute to testing in the community?
