part of the "communications support" includes bug reports. You did, didn't you Fred ? :^)
Nope......sorry to say. I don't have much to "report" about it as there weren't any usable errors. I was in the field, mad as a wet hornet, short on time and patience, and put on the box what I knew would install with no grief.
What I can't understand is why, under such circumstances, you even dare to install 11.0. You should install what is fully tested and known, ie, 10.3
For this client, I was quite sure it would be fine.........course, I'm using 11.0 RC1 with KDE3.* on my laptop, which I've been really beating up on for about 2 weeks now. I normally don't do type of install for a client, but the requirements are very minimal there. Who would have thought that Yast was all of a sudden so ignorant that it couldn't find the right driver for a well known and SUPPORTED modem in 10.1 and 10.3 and setup to run "auto" like it should?
