Is there a simple way to upgrade from factory to beta3 and in the future to the final release? I'm not sure I always will want to live in factory land.
Which lead to a more general question:
Why don't we have a repository called SUSE-11, and have SL-OSS-factory as a symlink to it. So then we create SUSE-11.1 and change the link for SL-OSS-factory.
We want to avoid to have two distro, instead one which permanently changes. It increases the load on our build system and also to the mirrors, which need to sync twice as much data. In addition to that, pleople will take a 11.0 directory now as final release. And they may not update to final one later leading to all kind of wired problems. bye adrian -- Adrian Schroeter SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) email: adrian@suse.de --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
