Hi,
we just have prepared a ntfsprogs package which supports resizing of NTFS partitions for Vista. This is rather new and untested and we therefore need some testers to test: * resizing of normal ntfs partitions * resizing of Vista ntfs partitions
Is there a way to make vista ntfs partition, whitout installing vista? Is there something like fdisk for Vista (sorry, I have not used Windows for years).
AFAIK the problem was that vista did not boot after shrinking. So it does not make much sense to test this without a running Vista installation.
Btw. Would be nice to have a mini-iso with the new ntfsprogs version. So resizing could be done within the installer.
Our mini-iso does contain it. And you can use YaST for resizing :)
You mean the new version Andreas announced yesterday?
forget it, it loads the image via ftp, the mini-iso alone does not help :/ sorry adrian -- Adrian Schroeter SUSE Linux Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nuernberg, Germany email: adrian@suse.de --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
