As a side note: In HP-UX maching existing software with available updates took over 40 minutes on a typical machine. After years (really) I posted to the newsgroup that I cannot really understand why it takes so long. After a few relases, the same process only took a few seconds. Now for SuSE: The complaining was done already, now waiting for the fix... ;-) Regards, Ulrich
