Cuando uses XawTV prueba con "overlay" y "grabdisplay" en la sección "Capture" Te estoy pidiendo usar XawTV porque tiene menos cosa que configurar que TVTime.

¿Probaste la placa en otra PC o con Windows? Comprueba que tienes instalado todos los controladores ivtv. Utiliza YaST para ello.
