Hi Miguel,
Sorry for the late reply, yet I was playing the tourist in Rome

Hi Togan,
Which document are you refererring to: 1) The susefaq 2) The firewall guide
The firewall guide, for the moment. We would like to start with it.
The only format I do permit is the PDF. I do not want the firewall guide to be in HTML format and available via a website. Also I would prefer that the PDF is available via Sourceforge downloads area which has at least 5 fast mirrors for efficient downlaods. Of course the website "susemania.org" should provide the link directly to sourceforge downloads area.
How do we know that the project has started ?
Good point. I wanted to be sure how many people wanted to be involved
in this
project. It seems we will be 4 or 5 people, good enough I think. I have the 3 sourceforge ID's:
dr gomez labougle ID: dotgl1970 miguel Calero ID: mcalero (this is me) Sergio Espinoza ID: serespdi
I will add these users and give access to fw_guide_es
I am waiting for one more user, Carlos Robinson, who told me that
from next
week he will be available, he has no ID yet. You might remember him, as he wrote something for the susefaq (about mail clients and how to export mailboxes or something like that).
So, what is the next?
1) Make sure you have exported your ssh keys to Sourceforge as it makes CVS access easier http://sourceforge.net/docman/display_doc.php?docid=761&group_id=1 2) Read the following link to understand how CVS works if you do not know. I will upload the source XMLs to "fw_guide_es" so you only need to checkout a working copy and then commit the changes. http://sourceforge.net/docman/display_doc.php?docid=14033&group_id=1 3) checkout the module fw_guide_es to your computer (make sure you change the developername to the actual Sourceforge ID) export CVS_RSH=ssh cvs -z3 -d:ext:developername@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/susefaq co \ fw_guide_es 4) Make sure you read the following README.TRANSLATION COPYRIGHT 5) Start translating and have fun 6) When the translation is finished let me know so I can check the validity of the XML document and produce the PDF file Thanks for the translation effort and feel free to ask questions when things are not clear Greetings from Stuttgart -- Togan Muftuoglu ========================================================================= O sea, a currar. Alguien sabe como empezar? Empezare por leer la documentacion que ha mandado... si nos la leemos todos tal vez saquemos mas cosas en claro. Un saludo Miguel
