Simply using nslookup to look up your hostname.
I assumed that my account was dynamic because that was what I set in dial up networking (oops almost wrote DUN)
All you're doing is asking the server which IP address you should use, and seeing as you have a static IP you'll always be given the same reply. -- Nick Drage - half understanding Pegasus until he gets his Linux partition sorted out......
