The problem with a threaded page is it takes so long to read your way through (well the ones I hve come across do), with e-mails simply arrow down to the next. With perhaps 200 a day the least time it takes to scan through the better. The "[suse-linux-uk-schools]" makes it easy to locate a message, - try resizing the window to allow all the first line to show. CFG ----------

What actually happened? Roger
I knew you would ask that! :-) Hence my disclaimer about not having taken notes! Still playing with Beebs, will get back ASAP.
PS In the subject line of e-mails you include "[suse-linux-uk-schools] " Could this be omitted or moved to the end of the line to make reading the headings a little less difficult.
While on the subject, what about a 'proper' threaded page that will make following conversations a little easier?
Just a thought.
Many thanks for your quick reply Roger. Adrian
