I copied this from man smb.conf guest ok (S) If this parameter is 'yes' for a service, then no password is required to connect to the service. Privileges will be those of the guest account. There are a couple of good books on Samba out there if you really get stuck, but there's good stuff on www.samba.org and in the man pages. For obvious reasons, we don't use samba here :)
To all you samba gurus. Is it possible to set up a share on Linux that can be seen and used by NT users with out them having a Linux usernames. If this is not possible can Linux use the NT sam, or NT groups ??
