Das "map" kannst du dir sparen, wenn die Platte mit Windows in der /boot/grub/device.map als (hd0) eingetragen ist.
Dies setzt sicherlich die dementsprechende Bootsequenz voraus, oder?
Ansonsten ist es halt so, will man Windows von 2. Platte booten, vertauscht man virtuell Platte 2 und 1 mit "map". Dadurch wird Windows eine erste Platte vorgegauckelt.
