Meinst Du das hier? SL10.1 has a new mount option for fat, which should get used by default by the gnome and kde automounting tools. This should use -o flush instead of -o sync, which will be much faster. -o flush is only available for fat, but it will start all io immediately without waiting for it to finish. This means you have to wait for io activity to stop before pulling out the disk/stick (look for the flashing light). Demnach sollte es kurz nach dem Ende der cp-Operation sicher sein, den Disk abzuklemmen. Naja, vielleicht habe ich einfach nicht lange genug gewartet. Der Disk hat leider keine Lampe. Torsten
