It could be an install location problem, what would mean you have *2* installed locations perhaps, one frome SuSE and one from pear... Well, you can see up there that /usr/share/php is the pear directory, which is true on my system. That's where I find my PEAR folder and also the PEAR.php.
Check this one to set the config: http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=pear-general&m=112097006209049&w=2
Could be also it concerns : http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=pear-dev&m=112110780020655&w=2 I checked them out, but I don't see what these links can help me with this problem.
On the other hand I noticed that the "/usr/share/php/.registry/" contains only one file. This is "/html_template_phplib.reg", containing infos of the package I installed myself as described in my first post. I guess the main point is that the SuSE package doesn't contain the ".registry/" folder itself. It go obviously only created when I installed the HTML_Template_PHPLIB package. So, DOES THIS MEAN that the installed PEAR version doesn't have a proper registry and therefore cannot be able to show the PEAR packages? ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? This would mean that SuSE didn't built the php4-pear package in the right manner... I guess there must be an error in my findings?! ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Regards, Marko
