Hallo, Ich nehme irgendein RPM-Paket und konvertiere es in ein CPIO-Archiv: $ rpm2cpio mutt-1.4.1i-140.i586.rpm > mutt.cpio Bis hierher kein Problem. Nun lasse ich mir den Inhalt des erstellten CPIO-Paketes mit CPIO anzeigen: $ cpio -tv < mutt.cpio -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 87970 Feb 12 2004 ./etc/Muttrc -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 2030 Feb 12 2004 ./usr/bin/Signature_conversion -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 7095 Feb 12 2004 ./usr/bin/flea -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 569864 Feb 12 2004 ./usr/bin/mutt [...] -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 29616 Feb 12 2004 ./usr/share/man/man5/muttrc.5.gz drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 0 Feb 12 2004 ./usr/share/mutt Geht bis hierher ohne Probleme. Das neue CPIO-Paket ist folglich kompatibel mit CPIO. Nun möchte ich mir den Inhalt des neuen CPIO-Paketes mal mit afio (neueste Version 2.5) anzeigen lassen: $ afio -tv mutt.cpio afio: "mutt.cpio": Input does not start with valid archive header. afio: "mutt.cpio": Use the -k option to start reading in the middle of an archive. afio: "mutt.cpio" [offset 6]: Fatal error: afio: "mutt.cpio": Unrecognizable archive Klappt nicht. So wie ich die Manpage von afio verstanden habe sollte es aber funktionieren. Kann sich jemand vorstellen wieso es nicht geht? Im voraus vielen Dank. -Ralph (RPM-Version 4.1.1, CPIO-Version 2.5)
