Das Problem kenne ich nur zu gut, da ich mit speziellen RCard's basteln musste. Mein Tip: In '/etc/sysconfig/pcmcia' kannst Du die IRQ's steuern: (nur z.B.:) PCMCIA_PCIC_OPTS="irq_list=9,10,12" Welche Du frei gibst, musst Du jedoch selbt herausfinden.
Weiterhin musste ich auf meinem System von kernel nach external wechseln, um mit meinen RCard's vernuenftig spielen zu koennen:-) Das muss bei Dir nicht zwingend notwendig sein!
PCMCIA_SYSTEM="kernel" nach PCMCIA_SYSTEM="external"
Danach als root ein 'rcpcmcia restart' und hoffen, dass mein Tip richtig war:-)
vielen Dank für den Tipp, aber das mit PCMCIA_PCIC_OPTS hatte ich früher schon einmal ausprobiert - ohne Erfolg. Ich habe dazu auch gleich eine Verständnisfrage: Ich hatte es so verstanden, dass mit dieser Option verhindert wird, IRQs abzufragen, die schon belegt sind und somit eventuell einen Konflikt hervorrufen könnten. Wenn ich damit 'einstellen' kann, welchen IRQ ich für den PCMCIA-Service nutzen will, wäre das natürlich ein anderer Sachverhalt. Gemäss dem Rat von Manfred habe ich die Konfiguration der Ethernet-Karte gelöscht, was aber mein Problem bisher nicht behoben hat. In /proc/interrupts erscheint die Ethernet-Karte jetzt nicht mehr, aber jedesmal wenn ich die Karte einstecke und versuche die Karte anzusprechen bleibt das ganze System stehen. Ich habe auf PCMCIA_SYSTEM="external" umgestellt und jetzt ergibt wenigstens ein 'cardctl ident' folgendes: Socket 0: product info: "NETGEAR MA401RA Wireless PC", "Card", "ISL37300P", "Eval-RevA" manfid: 0x000b, 0x7300 function: 6 (network) Aber nach 'dmesg' bekomme ich folgendes: --schnipp-- Linux PCMCIA Card Services 3.2.3 kernel build: 2.4.20-4GB-athlon #1 Wed Aug 6 18:27:52 UTC 2003 options: [pci] [cardbus] [apm] Intel ISA/PCI/CardBus PCIC probe: O2Micro OZ6912 rev 00 PCI-to-CardBus at slot 00:0a, mem 0x80000000 host opts [0]: [pci/way] [pci irq 11] [lat 168/176] [bus 2/5] ISA irqs (default) = 4,7,10 PCI status changes cs: memory probe 0xa0000000-0xa0ffffff: clean. init_module: prism2_cs.o: 0.1.16-pre9 Loaded init_module: dev_info is: prism2_cs prism2_cs: CardServices release does not match! p80211.o: 0.1.16-pre9 Unloaded p80211.o: 0.1.16-pre9 Unloaded unloading PCMCIA Card Services Linux PCMCIA Card Services 3.2.3 kernel build: 2.4.20-4GB-athlon #1 Wed Aug 6 18:27:52 UTC 2003 options: [pci] [cardbus] [apm] Intel ISA/PCI/CardBus PCIC probe: O2Micro OZ6912 rev 00 PCI-to-CardBus at slot 00:0a, mem 0x80000000 host opts [0]: [pci/way] [pci irq 11] [lat 168/176] [bus 2/5] ISA irqs (default) = 4,7,10 PCI status changes cs: memory probe 0xa0000000-0xa0ffffff: clean. init_module: prism2_cs.o: 0.1.16-pre9 Loaded init_module: dev_info is: prism2_cs prism2_cs: CardServices release does not match! p80211.o: 0.1.16-pre9 Unloaded p80211.o: 0.1.16-pre9 Unloaded hermes.c: 4 Dec 2002 David Gibson <hermes@gibson.dropbear.id.au> orinoco.c 0.13b (David Gibson <hermes@gibson.dropbear.id.au> and others) orinoco_cs.c 0.13b (David Gibson <hermes@gibson.dropbear.id.au> and others) orinoco_cs: Card Services release does not match! hermes.c: 4 Dec 2002 David Gibson <hermes@gibson.dropbear.id.au> orinoco.c 0.13b (David Gibson <hermes@gibson.dropbear.id.au> and others) hermes.c: 4 Dec 2002 David Gibson <hermes@gibson.dropbear.id.au> orinoco.c 0.13b (David Gibson <hermes@gibson.dropbear.id.au> and others) orinoco_cs.c 0.13b (David Gibson <hermes@gibson.dropbear.id.au> and others) orinoco_cs: Card Services release does not match! hermes.c: 4 Dec 2002 David Gibson <hermes@gibson.dropbear.id.au> orinoco.c 0.13b (David Gibson <hermes@gibson.dropbear.id.au> and others) hermes.c: 4 Dec 2002 David Gibson <hermes@gibson.dropbear.id.au> orinoco.c 0.13b (David Gibson <hermes@gibson.dropbear.id.au> and others) orinoco_cs.c 0.13b (David Gibson <hermes@gibson.dropbear.id.au> and others) orinoco_cs: Card Services release does not match! hermes.c: 4 Dec 2002 David Gibson <hermes@gibson.dropbear.id.au> orinoco.c 0.13b (David Gibson <hermes@gibson.dropbear.id.au> and others) hermes.c: 4 Dec 2002 David Gibson <hermes@gibson.dropbear.id.au> orinoco.c 0.13b (David Gibson <hermes@gibson.dropbear.id.au> and others) orinoco_cs.c 0.13b (David Gibson <hermes@gibson.dropbear.id.au> and others) orinoco_cs: Card Services release does not match! hermes.c: 4 Dec 2002 David Gibson <hermes@gibson.dropbear.id.au> orinoco.c 0.13b (David Gibson <hermes@gibson.dropbear.id.au> and others) isapnp: Scanning for PnP cards... isapnp: No Plug & Play device found unloading PCMCIA Card Services Linux PCMCIA Card Services 3.2.3 kernel build: 2.4.20-4GB-athlon #1 Wed Aug 6 18:27:52 UTC 2003 options: [pci] [cardbus] [apm] Intel ISA/PCI/CardBus PCIC probe: O2Micro OZ6912 rev 00 PCI-to-CardBus at slot 00:0a, mem 0x80000000 host opts [0]: [pci/way] [pci irq 11] [lat 168/176] [bus 2/5] ISA irqs (default) = 4,7,10 PCI status changes cs: memory probe 0xa0000000-0xa0ffffff: clean. init_module: prism2_cs.o: 0.1.16-pre9 Loaded init_module: dev_info is: prism2_cs prism2_cs: CardServices release does not match! p80211.o: 0.1.16-pre9 Unloaded p80211.o: 0.1.16-pre9 Unloaded isapnp: Scanning for PnP cards... isapnp: No Plug & Play device found unloading PCMCIA Card Services Linux PCMCIA Card Services 3.2.3 kernel build: 2.4.20-4GB-athlon #1 Wed Aug 6 18:27:52 UTC 2003 options: [pci] [cardbus] [apm] Intel ISA/PCI/CardBus PCIC probe: O2Micro OZ6912 rev 00 PCI-to-CardBus at slot 00:0a, mem 0x80000000 host opts [0]: [pci/way] [pci irq 11] [lat 168/176] [bus 2/5] ISA irqs (default) = 4,7,10 PCI status changes cs: memory probe 0xa0000000-0xa0ffffff: clean. init_module: prism2_cs.o: 0.1.16-pre9 Loaded init_module: dev_info is: prism2_cs prism2_cs: CardServices release does not match! p80211.o: 0.1.16-pre9 Unloaded p80211.o: 0.1.16-pre9 Unloaded --schnapp-- Ich verstehe nicht, wieso da steht 'CardServices release does not match!', orinoco und prism2 sind doch sowohl für kernel, als auch für external verfügbar. Ich hoffe irgendjemand kann mir hier weiterhelfen. Ich bin wirklich kurz vorm Aufgeben. Eine wichtige Information ist auch, dass mit dem 'external' der Laptop beim Einstecken der Karte nicht mehr abschmiert. Wofür ich auch mal wieder keine Erklärung habe. Aber ich bin ja auch nur ein kleines Linux-Licht. Vielen Dank schon mal im voraus für Eure Hilfe und an alle, die sich bereits beteiligt haben. Viele Grüsse Cornelia
