Guten TagIch habe SuSE Linux 8.0 von CD installiert, es läuft alles sauber, ohne Fehler !rpm -qf /boot/vmlinuz (installiert ist bei mir k_smp***)danach habe ich k_smp-2.4.18-243.i386.rpm genau nach Anweisung installiertrpm -Uhv --nodeps --force k_smp-2.4.18-243.i386.rpm mk_initrdlilo reboot beim hochbooten kommt folgende Meldungen :VFS : cannot open root device "806" or 08:06please append a correct "root=" boot optionKernel panic: VFS: unable to mount root fs on 08:03 Server-Konfiguration =Compaq Proliant ML350 G3512 MB RAMCompaq Ultra 3 SCSI (Module aic7xxx)Intel 10/100 (Module e100)Broadcom Nic (Module bcm5700)PS (Problem habe ich auch auf einem anderen Server mit nur 1 CPU (p3)es kommt zu selben Fehlermeldung)MfGJan Walli
