[opensuse-conference] Current status of openSUSE Conference
openSUSE Conference status & TODO

* we have venue handled by university
** TODO(mine) sign the contract with them and pay them
*** Already discussed details with guys who are supposed to sign and
pay, need to follow up and make sure that they started talking to
the university
* hotel is reserved, but we are missing big openSUSE announcement and
link on web
** TODO copy & paste stuff from
http://www.linuxdays.cz/accomodation/
and
http://www.linuxdays.cz/ubytovani/
to conference website
** TODO write an article about that on news.opensuse.org
* creating the schedule haven't started yet, will have meeting with
university guy and Theo (Gentoo guy) this Thursday about that
** TODO close openSUSE CfP when time is due and write last call for
papers article on news.opensuse.org at least week before that
** TODO(mine) sit down with people from other conferences and create schedule,
but that's not going to happen sooner than August as CfP is still in
progress
** optional TODO - android application
*** last year we had android application for openSUSE Conference
schedule. Would be nice to adopt it for this year as well
* TODO(mine) party(ies)
** there is possibility that we will be allowed to have a party at
campus. Would be great but plan was to wait for party university had
planed to happen, gather feedback and act accordingly. Will probably
know more on Thursday from University guy.
** Theo suggested to do small pre-party on Friday after we finish
preparing venue with some of the arriving guys. Thursday meeting is
going to happen in close by pub to check the size and possibilities
of booking.

What is missing in the list? Moving and transporting stuff from Nue to
Prague, setting up the Venue which needs to be organized but can wait
till September. If you have some comments/feedback/want to pickup any
TODO item, let me know ;-)

What is still missing is FUTURE MEDIA track, have few e-mails to read about
that to catch up with current status. After that I'll write another report ;-)
