Hi again!
Still syncing *a lot* of R packages from CRAN (cran.r-project.org) to OBS.
It seems there is a limit of 10000 packages in a (home)-repo?
yes...
At least I get "quota exceeded" errors. Or is it some other limit I'm hitting?
And can anything be done about it?
All in all right now there are 16500 packages in CRAN. :-)
I can increase the limit, but maybe we should do this in some official place instead.
You do not want to upload this to devel:languages:R:devel ?
The plan was to ask for an official place in a few days, after some remaining quirks are removed. May be d:l:R:CRANrpm ?
well, no need to ask. You can create sub projects yourself ;)
None of all these packages shall go to to factory, because the licences used in CRAN. They seem to have a different list of license strings and I don`t want to mess around with these. There will be a translator for these strings, where easily possible. Let's see how this will work out.
Would be great, if you increased the limit for home:dsteuer, so I can test with the complete data set. Nevertheless, if you prefer me to change to d:l:R:*, I can do so, as the scripts work "well enough" (tm) now.
I do not really want to increase limits for home projects, better create
a more official one first.
