and error now:
$ genhdlist2 .
adding 2 new rpms not available in existing hdlist
/usr/bin/perl: symbol lookup error:
/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.10.0/i586-linux-thread-multi/auto/URPM/UR
PM.so: undefined symbol: headerPutString

there is no such function in rpm 4.4.2.3 (sle11sp1)·
that is, this function must be ported·

Adrian, do i need to do this?
may be 11.4 and factory is enough?

I think, I have fixed the packages already. Also Mandriva:2010.1 is
using
repotype hdlist2 now. Could you please test this repository:

 http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:/Tools/Mandriva_2010
.1/
alas, files hdlist.cz and synthesis.hdlist.cz are empty·

Hm, this is because of the missing headerPutString function (saw this in
another mail from you meanwhile).

Also it seems that we would need to have all packages in one directory for
genhdlist2, it seems it can't work with multiple ones. right ?

genhdlist2 should be run in each directory that contains the packages·
genhdlist2 creates a subdirectory media_info, and writes at least
three files in this subdirectory:
$ ls media_info/
hdlist.cz MD5SUM synthesis.hdlist.cz

for more information please see "man genhdlist2" (this man page in
perl-URPM, which i built)·
